This biannual event is a chance for people working in a variety of settings and sectors across the province of Ontario to come together to learn and share experiences and strategies for building healthy, sustainable and resilient communities.

HC Link's 2013 provincial conference, Linking for Healthy Communities: Collaborating for Change, was held at the Novotel Toronto Centre on November 12 and 13.

This year's conference theme was:
Creating community change... by engaging our communities, working in partnership and fostering environments and conditions that support health.

This year, 160 people from many diverse sectors, in many diverse roles all came together to learn, network and share - with the common goal of creating healthier communities.

We were pleased to offer simultaneous interpretation of our partially bilingual program, sponsored in part by Éducavie, and a livestreaming option for those who were not able to join in person.

We also partnered with Canada Walks who awarded Ontario's first WALK Friendly community designations at our conference.
